Eric Musselwhite

Eric Musselwhite is a professional freelance musician, composer, arranger, adjudicator, clinician, and educator. He has been an active performer for over twenty-five years and has performed with national artists including J.J. Johnson, Ed Neumeister, Kevin Mahogany, The Four Tops, Dave Matthews, Indigo Girls, Everything, Frank Foster, and the O’Jays. He was a featured performer and clinician in 2010 and 2011 at the Jazz en Vercors Festival in Villard de Lans, France. He is currently one of the band directors at Grafton Middle School in Yorktown VA and is also adjunct faculty at Christopher Newport University where he served as interim Director of Jazz Studies. Mr. Musselwhite earned the Bachelor of Music degree in music business from James Madison University and the Master of Music degree in jazz studies and saxophone from Georgia State University.
