DaCapo Login Information

DaCapo is our database system that helps us maintain communication, organization, and support for our band students.  It is important that each family’s information and records are complete and up to date.  Accounts must first be created by the Boosters/Directors, but then can be updated and maintained by individual families.

If you have trouble logging in, or forgot your login information, e-mail Doug Maloney or Christopher Riechers

Dear Parents,

The Chantilly Music Programs are now a member of Da Capo Inventory.  This service, developed by a music teacher, allows the district to track our instrument inventory and communicate important information in a timely matter to our music families.

Please register for the ‘Da Capo Inventory Parent Portal’.  Currently, the functionality on the portal is limited to correcting the spelling of your child’s name and updating student and parent contact information.  However, more functionality is planned for the near future.

To register for an account and add your child to your account, please follow these instructions:

  1. Navigate to https://www.dacapoinventory.com/ (Please bookmark this address)
  2. Click the purple ‘Parent Log In’ icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Click “Create New Parent Account”
  4. Enter your Name, Personal Email Address, and choose Chantilly HS.  Click the “I’m not a robot” button, and click ‘Create Parent Account’.
  5. You will receive an immediate email from noreply@dacapoinventory.com asking you to create a password for your account.  The password must be a ‘strong’ password.[1]
  6. After you create your password, you can log in to the Parent Portal.  Be sure that you are on the Parent Login Page.
  7. Upon Login, please click ‘Link Student to Your Account’
  8. Enter the Student Da Capo ID and Access Code that was given to you by your child’s teacher and click ‘Link Student Account’
  9. If you need any assistance, you can feel free to reach out to support@dacapoinventory.com.

[1] It is best practice to use a strong, unique password for each site on the internet.  We recommend that you use a password manager to maintain your list of password lists.  Most password managers can sync between all of your devices.  Simply search for ‘password manager’ online and you can read reviews about many different password managers including LastPass, Dashlane, Bitwarden, and others.  Many of these password managers have free tiers with many features.
