The Chantilly High School Indoor Drumline enjoys a rich history of innovative and entertaining performances that showcase the talents of our students. Competing in the Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) and the Winter Guard International (WGI) circuits, the success of the Indoor Drumline has gained acclaim in local, regional, and national competition.
The Indoor Drumline season begins in late November/early December and runs through April and allows students to continue develop musical/performance skills through this activity. All members of the Chantilly Band are eligible to participate, regardless of whether their primary instrument is percussion. General instrumentation for indoor drumline includes:
Snare, Tenors, Bass, Cymbal, Keyboard Percussion (Marimba, Vibes, Xylophone, Bells), Drum Set, Auxiliary Percussion, Piano, Synthesizer, Electronics/Sound Engineering.
