CHS Music Boosters (8/27 Chipotle & 8/29 Concessions)
Hello Chantilly Music (Choir, Orchestra, Band) Families!
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! It was so nice to meet so many of you at Open House/Back to School Night.
Did you know that the football game concessions is a fundraiser for our music programs? We need a lot of help preparing and selling food and snacks. Our first home game is Thursday, August 29. Click here to sign up. It’s a great way to meet fellow music families. We are also looking for a concessions co-lead, ice lead, and clean up lead.
Next week, we will have our first dining night fundraiser. On Tuesday, August 27, 5-9 pm, come join us at the Chipotle near Wegmans (14383 Newbrook Dr, Chantilly). If you are a new Charger, you are in for a treat with a strong Music Booster Program to support our choral, orchestra and band groups at CHS. Save the date for the fall General Meeting on Tuesday, September 17 at 7:00 pm in the Choir Room. We will hear from our favorite music directors and learn about the many ways you can support the Chantilly music programs.
The money we raise through concessions, tag day, and dining nights helps pay for things like new music, equipment, clinicians and instructors, uniforms, instruments — which all help make the music experience at CHS a world-class experience. Our volunteer program includes supporting program events as chaperones, uniform fittings, equipment handling, concert support, and more. As volunteer opportunities become available, the links to sign up will be emailed with a description of what is needed.
Become a Member or Patron – For $20, become a general member of the CHS Music Boosters. Donate $50 or more to become a patron and have your family’s name or business printed in the concert programs. We will also have opportunities for corporate sponsorship soon. Join here.
Tag Day is Saturday September 21, 2023 – Canvass the CHS attendance area neighborhoods for donations; All music students and Volunteers and Drivers from all music programs should mark your calendars now for our largest and most important fundraiser. The first opportunity to help with prep will be in a few weeks. More information coming soon!
